I would say its unfair to level the durian as fecal smelling fruit if
you learn to understand and appreciate its characteristics from a
technical point of view...
To the unitiated and the ignorant it really smell crap to them...
I will subscribe to the saying of the Davao people( in Southern
Philippines where this fruit is plentiful) about Durian....
'The fruit that smells like hell... but taste like heaven....
A fitting accolade to this fruit.
