I would say its unfair to level the durian as fecal smelling fruit if
you learn to understand and appreciate its characteristics from a
technical point of view...
To the unitiated and the ignorant it really smell crap to them...

Interesting. In the north, in Bikol, we don't have Durian. I do like it,
but I haven't had it much fresh. I didn't like the frozen kind I bought
here in the States once. Guess I'll have to wait til I get back to SE Asia
again, whenever that will be...
