Driving by the BK this week I saw on their sign these words:

Try our new smokehouse pork BBQ sandwich!

I have not tried it. Any of you tried the thing?

I wonder where they have the smokehouse. I may give it a try,
but it will be hard to better a McRib though.

Burger King, like Subway just uses some 3rd party barbeque
prepackaged
stuff for their sandwiches. It's no different than getting the
pulled
pork in sauce in plastic containers that you find at a supermarket.
They just use their buns and toppings.

That's better than what you'd get if the help made the stuff.

Reheating pulled pork can be very good, if the original pulled
pork was good and you reheat it right.

The biggest problem with the supermarket stuff is what they use
for sauce, and how much sauce they use. It doesn't taste the
same as real BBQ pulled pork, but it's ok as it's own thing.

If you've been paying attention to the labels on the store bought pulled
pork you may notice that it says "BBQ sauce with pork" instead of "Smoked
pork in BBQ sauce". Seems somebody righteously complained that the label
didn't meet federal guidelines. Sauce comprises over half of the contents.
