Dimitri,

I've refrained from looking up the disease mostly out of fear. Seriously.

Best,

Andy

Fear not - it's a nice thought and gesture. - better yet send her 100 of
Demerol. Whoops only kidding.

Understood and it's not a problem however this is getting a little more
common place. Once you have a bout you want to avoid it at almost any
price. Like any other malady, the best you can do is to become informed
before you HAVE to become informed.

Read up, you'll learn about your body and how your diet (choice of foods)
effect your system.

I have not (Thanks God) had a bout in 8 or 9 years BUT I am very cognoscente
of my body - remember the old "an apple a day" there is a good reason -
Fiber. I also know what irritates my digestive system.

More often than not we become too busy to pat attention to what our system
is telling us. I am just as guilty as anyone else maybe more so.

I mention the cream of Wheat for a specific reason. Many years ago I was
hospitalized for the same thing Jill is in for. After the 4th or 5th day I
was allowed to have some "soft diet". That morning they brought the most
awful, barely warm, runny, dried around the edges, cream of wheat. I poured
some soft runny butter from a melted pat onto the stuff, I added some sugar
and ate with such gusto you would think is was a 6 course repast from the
Four Seasons in NYC.

:-)
