Hell's Kitchen finale (spoilers)

I wonder if Jen purposely tried to screw things up?
Nah, she can do it naturally.
IMO, it is a big mistake to intentionally screw up as millions of people,
including potential employers, are watching. I imagine even the losers
get some publicity and possibly job offers if they are good. Showing you
are a vengeful bitch is not good marketing.
....and then she had the gall to ask Ramsay for a letter of recommendation! I
wonder what she got.
ObFood: Got this in my e-mail today; I'm on the Quady e-mail list:
Tree Fruits and Sour Cream with Quady Essensia
2 lbs. mixed ripe local tree fruits, sliced into thick wedges
(examples: nectarines, peaches, apricots, plums and cherries)
1/2 cup Essensia (Orange Muscat Dessert Wine)
1 cup sour cream
2 Tbs light brown sugar
Mint leaves to garnish
Place the sliced fruits in a mixing bowl and add the Essensia. Gently
stir to coat.
Let the fruit stand at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving.
Meanwhile, combine the sour cream and brown sugar, set aside.
Serve the fruit in small bowls or sorbet glasses, top off with a
dollop of the sour cream mixture and a glass of Essensia.
At room temperature the flavors of perfectly ripe fruits is something
not to miss and this recipe couldn't be easier.
BOB'S NOTE: I'm thinking this might be even better with strawberries, when
their fall season hits. As a springtime dessert earlier this year I had
strawberries with Moscato d'Asti, and it was very well-received. I'm not a
fan of the summer strawberries around here, so I'll wait until the fall crop
hits.
