Yay, Christina. The St. Louis (Maplewood) contestant won. I was pretty
sure she was going to, after Ramsay picked her for the finals even with
a weak performance in the "three chefs" competition. I really didn't
think a middle-aged caterer was likely to win.

This was probably the worst slate of contestants since the show
started, especially on the men's side.


She was my pick a few weeks ago once the field narrowed. Some weeks before
that, I though Bobby may have had a chance. Although she lacks experience,
she seemed the most knowledgeable and if she can get respect of older help
in the kitchen, can do well.

About week three, I thought the entire crew should have been tossed and they
all lose.
