Yay, Christina. The St. Louis (Maplewood) contestant won. I was
pretty sure she was going to, after Ramsay picked her for the
finals even with a weak performance in the "three chefs"
competition. I really didn't think a middle-aged caterer was likely
to win.)
That was my assessment. At 47, how many more productive years could
Petrozza have? Christina is much more malleable.
Pretty much Ramsay's final assessment (source Wikipedia):
"Christina had the least amount of experience coming into Hell's
Kitchen. But I saw something in her that was quite special. She had the
best potential across any other chef in Hell's Kitchen, and in my
business, I think long term. I definitely, definitely made the right
choice."
