Yay, Christina. The St. Louis (Maplewood) contestant won. I was
pretty sure she was going to, after Ramsay picked her for the
finals even with a weak performance in the "three chefs"
competition. I really didn't think a middle-aged caterer was likely
to win.

[restored -- it is a TV show after all]

I couldn't see Ramsay putting up with Petrozza's frequent fumbling.
How on earth do you run out of the ingredients for two of the
appetizers on YOUR menu half way through dinner service? Simple - he
didn't bother to check to make sure his team had done adequate prep.

Yeah, in many ways Ramsay didn't seem to respect "P" very much.

In Christina, I saw growth during the season and the potential for
even more growth, despite her age and lack of experience. Most of
the people who enter the competition already think they're all that,
then wonder why they get shot down. I was happy she won

She probably has more upside potential, being a recent culinary school
student, and she did well in the various challenges. The paper
mentioned that she completed her studies at the CIA during the break
