Default firewood smoked seitan sausage

I never take seitan backpacking. It requires too much water and too much
work to make.

Not unless you have access to lots of potable water and fuel.

Might be a bit long to cook, it would take a lot of firewood...Should I
form sausages and smoke them...anyone know how to smoke food?


Find a prepared food that doesn't require refrigeration. If you demand
seitan while backpacking, carry a tin or two from an Asian market.
