I was wondering : suppose I'd like to go camping three days out in the

I never take seitan backpacking. It requires too much water and too much
work to make.
Is there a way to form some kind of
relatively dry salami? Should I prepare the dough before, and cook it
there?
Not unless you have access to lots of potable water and fuel.
Might be a bit long to cook, it would take a lot of firewood...Should I
form sausages and smoke them...anyone know how to smoke food?
Find a prepared food that doesn't require refrigeration. If you demand
seitan while backpacking, carry a tin or two from an Asian market.
If you can advise me that would be very nice of you
Sure, take something else.
