Gloria gave me a wee pickle pin. I believe I'll put it on my shirt. It
will complement my hat nicely. I need some earrings, though! Damn!

I just found out today that Miz Anne, aka "Grannie Annie" gave our
pickle hats to the great grands. Bah! Humbug! I was going to wear mine
to the barbershop today to see if any of the other Old Farts knew it was
National Pickle Week.

In honor of said week I am having homemade sweet and dill pickles with
my lunch sammich.
