Default Wegman's?

There was a story in my local paper yesterday that Wegman's is trying to
open in store just outside of Boston. It isn't a done deal yet - the
town has to approve a liquor license.
Would it be worth the drive? For me - probably 30 minutes....I've only
heard of the place through rfc - I have no idea really, what kind of
store it is. Standard grocery/supermarket?

There are Wegman's and there are Wegman's. In many places in upstate New
York they are just regular supermarkets, but in places like Central
Jersey they are upscale supermarkets with a huge selection of ready-made
foods. It's a favorite place for "princesses" to shop, my daughter among
them.

They do carry a slightly higher quality of meat and produce than the
other local chains. One of the things they carry is a do-it-yourself
planked salmon kit. Really nice on the backyard gas grill. Their salads
are awesome.
