Looks like Randy is using Thunderbird. As I recall, its filtering is
relatively primitive, along the lines of OE. I think (but couldn't
swear) that Subject or Sender is about it.
I'm still doing pretty well with just a keyword filter for the subject
line. Every now and then I have to add one, but it's working out pretty
well without having to blanket kill any domains.

I use TB and filtering isn't too bad, you can do things like "If sender
contains" "whatever" then "mark message read" or "If Subject contains"
"whatever" then "mark message read"
