Hi Janet. Thanks. How does it compare in taste/texture with 100% duram
wheat Semolina?

That's what it's made from. With some added fiber blend. Just like
regular pasta.

Susan is correct. It tastes just like regular pasta. Dreamfields has a
patented way of producing it so that only 5 grams of carbs per 2 ounce
dry serving are absorbed by the body. You must be careful about the
timing. If it goes to mush, you won't get the benefit of the process.

Also not every DM is successful with it. Some people will spike as late
as 5 hours post-prandial. You will need to test quite a bit until you
can tell if it works for you or not. My DH does well with it. He spiked
on Carbquick. Go know?

Thanks, Janet. Mushy will never be a problem with pasta for me, as I
consider al dente to be slightly overdone. As I said, I'll keep an eye out
(inside joke) for Dreamfields pastas.

I've known US vets who served as far back as the Spanish American War. They
are all my heroes! Thank a Veteran and Support Our Troops. You are not
forgotten. Thanks ! ! ~Semper Fi~
