Default Southwestern style hash

I got this recipe many years ago. It is quick to fix and can be changed up
many ways.

The original recipe was:

1 lb. ground beef
1 pkg. O'Brien potatoes (frozen potato cubes with peppers and onions)
1 jar salsa

Brown the ground beef and remove from skillet. Cook the potatoes in a
little oil until browned then add the ground beef back in and the salsa and
cook until heated through.

I usually make changes to this recipe by adding more ground beef, more
salsa, more onions and peppers, and sometimes some hot peppers or chili
powder. It could be made with cubed or shredded chicken or leftover roast
beef. If you can't handle potatoes, you could simply use some chopped
onions and peppers and leave those out.

We're having this for dinner tonight. It's very good!
