Eating piranhas

I saw an episode of Lonely Planet a few years back which was hosted by
the red haired fella (can't remember his name). They caught piranha
and seemed to just cook them on sticks above a small fire. Looked like
any other boring white, freshwater fish.
They are pretty much boring freshwater fish, except they do have pretty
sharp teeth, and they can bite hours after they are dead. Hence their
reputation.
What's up Dan!
I've seen Amazon footage of natives doing this. I would enjoy it more
with some salt, pepper, and garlic.
But from what I saw in the footage, the native hate them because they
are such a pain (literally) to deal with in their nets.
